About

Roars Hunter, an original artist & songwriter hailing from London UK, blurs the boundaries between punk-electronic, alternative rock & lofi-hiphop, which blend to produce stunning songs with haunting melodies. FFO Gorillaz, 21 pilots, Linkin Park, Lil Peep & XXXtentacion
Recording all his tracks at the acclaimed Planck Music studios (Frank Turner, Viv Albertine) Roars Hunter is an artist dead set on genre bending with every release. A dark, brooding force with deep and dirty grooves. His latest single ‘BAD FOR ME’ being described by John Talbot of Ticketmaster as sounding like ‘Michael Jackson covering Nine Inch Nails’. BAD FOR ME currently has over 80k views on YouTube.
Although a fresh new artist, Roars Hunter’s already been a finalist of Mayor of London Gigs Big Busk, gigging all over London & drawing crowds in with his original songs & inventive covers. His early acoustic mashup of The Beatles ‘Let It Be’ & Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman, No Cry’ garnered 50k views on YouTube.
As well as busking Roars has featured & headlined shows at many well known London venues including The Good Ship, The Water Rats, Fire in Vauxhall & The White Horse.
In 2019, Roars is continuing his a new punk-electronic project through which will see him release his debut EP. With songs like BAD FOR ME, festivals & more gigs in his headlights, Roars Hunter is on the cusp of Punk-Electronic brilliance.
