Rose Kimberley

About

Rose has been singing and songwriting since age 16. After her degree at Roehampton University in 2006, Rose moved from Cornwall to Surrey to pursue a career in music, with co-writer and brother, George.

Whilst writing and performing in the south east with their band 'Maker', Rose worked at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford as education co-ordinator for the vocal school until 2009. Working with industry professionals (such as Sam Brown and Ann Bailey) inspired her to also work as a session singer. Rose has provided vocals for various artists and projects, both live and in a recording environment. Credits include Peter Cox (Go West) and ERIKA, and as a songwriter has collaborated with Sam Brown and John James Newman.

Post 'Maker', Rose began work as a solo artist, writing songs both independently and collaboratively. Rose's music is described as alternative pop. Her voice has a naturally warm tone and she is known for her strong emotional delivery. A natural performer, Rose likes to keep a relaxed environment during her performance while giving the audience plenty of reason to listen.
