Ruby Dean is a singer-songwriter immersed in folk, pop and pouring her heart out. Based in South-East England, the 22-year-old was raised on the music of Fleetwood Mac, Cat Stephens and Norah Jones, all of which strong influences in her songwriting now. Empowered by the devastation of heartache and wavering self-identity, Ruby turns to music to express those emotions which cannot be explained on the page alone. With soft vocal melodies like those of Gracie Abrams and the gentle guitar sounds of Lizzy McAlpine, her songwriting finds its feet in the folk-pop genre, for the dreamers and the heartbroken.
