Hailing from Southend-on-Sea, San Quentin are a working class band with fast paced anthems & engaging live shows. Tipped by This Feeling as “Ones to Watch 2023”, the band name was inspired by the iconic album “Johnny Cash – San Quentin Prison”. Cash being a big inspiration to songwriter Liam.

2022 started with the band being tipped by BBC introducing as “Ones to Watch in 2022”, followed by festival season & major festival debuts at Isle of Wight Festival & Y Not Festival main stage. 2022 ended with their first UK tour, playing 6 shows & giving bags of energy for the crowds to remember. The year ended on a high with sold out hometown show & the band’s first national radio support on Radio X.
