Sleep Walking Animals

About

Self-confessed reprobates with choir boy pipes, SWA grew up as friends in Manchester. It was only natural for them to eventually form a band bonded by a deep sense of brotherhood which penetrates through their music, recording ethic, and live shows. SWA’s indie-folk sound has been likened to Fleet Foxes and Talking Heads among others. Their melee of evocative folk, progressive and post-punk songs feature solid choral harmonies combined with simple yet filmic musicality and poetic lyricism. SWA has sold out venues across the UK and has aired on national TV and radio, most notably on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and Tom Robinson’s Introducing Mixtape.
