Stikman Wild is a three piece alt-rock/blues band consisting of Paul Ward (vocals/guitar), Paul Stanton (bass guitar) and John Anson (drums/backing vocals). Ward and Anson met on an online musicians’ board in Leeds where a YouTube video of Paul’s guitar playing instantly convinced Anson to make contact and propose forming a band together. Staying as a duo for around a year in Leeds, the band moved to London and recently became a trio after Stanton saw the duo perform and suggested they needed a good bass player. With line-up now complete, the band has recently received national airplay on Tom Robinson’s BBC6 Introducing Mixtape show and are starting to emerge on the London scene.
