We are Still Life, five students who have met through our shared ambition to create music. we’ve combined our musical influences – ranging from Radiohead to Joni Mitchell – to find our own sound. We all write, bringing in songs or ideas and developing them together, which has created a uniquely contrasting set with an impressive dynamic and thematic range. The Still Life sound blends emotive melodies ornate guitar parts, complex drums and intricate yet grounded baselines. We’ve played in iconic Manchester venues, such as Gulliver’s in Northern Quarter, as well as some upcoming gigs at The Camden Club and The Fiddler’s Elbow.
