Hailing from Coventry, UK, Stone Meadow was formed in late 2021 by guitarist Joe Baines and vocalist Jake Shellis. After quickly adding drummer Jacob Tanner and bassist Luke Bradley into the fold, the band spent the entirety of 2022 travelling round the pub and bar scene in the West Midlands, putting their own melodic, heavy spin on a wide range of popular covers.

By late 2022, the band had gained a cult following and had a reputation for putting on high energy shows, blowing up fuseboards, breaking drum sticks and using wireless guitar packs to reach the beer garden during the Freebird solo. With demand growing for original music, the band released their debut EP ‘Dear Lover’ in Sep 2022.
