Stranger Girl are a female fronted, ferociously pop-driven indie four piece. With a desire to bring guitar music back to the limelight, the band have created their sound with upbeat, explosive instrumentals underneath loaded melodies. Lead singer Melissa explores themes of anxiety and neuroticism, tackling these feelings with high energy hooks and storytelling lyrics. Stranger Girl have played shows including The Great Escape Festival, the Camden Assembly, and a support slot for 90s iconic band Sleeper at the Concorde 2. The band used the lockdown period to record and produce their first EP ‘Black Hole Radio’ and prepare for their Spring 2022 tour. SG are raring to play more shows and release even more music in the coming months.
