Strangers in Transit are an art rock and progressive psychedelic group with diverse influences ranging from Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, The Smiths, and the Grateful Dead to Nitin Sawhney, Talvin Singh, Aphex Twin, and Massive Attack, with dashes of boundless other styles thrown in the mix.

Their ethos is based around collaborative ‘chase the strange’ musicianship, and they have a ravenous appetite for fearless and relentless adventure in their playing.

An ever-changing sound is their hallmark – every show features unique blends of the best musicians in Berkshire and Surrey, and emphasising varied instrumentations, explorations, and improvisations of their original music.
