Having met at Kingston University, studying music, Tequila Mockingbird were formed in the first weeks of 2015. They very quickly wrote a collection of blues/rock based tracks. After gigging all over London that summer, they went into the studio in September and released their debut album, 507, in June completely independently. The band have received positive reviews of their ‘nostalgic yet modern sound’ – Never Enough Notes (see full review here – http://www.neverenoughnotes.co.uk/2016/02/live-the-crookes-live-in-kingston-25-02-2016/ ) and their album has achieved radio play on local radio, such as Skyline Gold (Southampton).
