The Boondock Hippy comprises of 6 members:

Steve Keenlyside aka The Boondock Hippy on Acoustic guitar and Vocals, Rex Pearson on Lead Guitar, Andy Mcsweeney on Bass guitar, Dan Szymczak on drums, Abhs Joshi on percussion and finally Rich Wassall on trombone

Together, they have recorded 3x albums in total, all of which have which, have been received really well. "Life in the Slow Lane" was the first offering, whilst the 2nd, "Dylan's Gold" was a soundtrack based on a film script Steve wrote by the same name. The 3rd album is called "Born on a Rock" and was written about Steve experiences growing up on the Shetland Islands

The Boondock Hippy was also nominated for 3x awards at the Download Music Awards this year, off the back of the 2nd album- Best acoustic Act, Best newcomer and best website. Unfortunately we didn't win an award but it was just great to be nominated.

The band's latest music video "Makin Tracks" was also recently aired on Channel 4-Sunday Brunch
