The Divide are an alternative rock band from Medway, Kent, formed in 2024 by lead vocalist Josh van der Beeck and lead guitarist James Getting. Completed by Jamie Geddes (bass), John Hughes (drums) and Mark Nutting (rhythm guitar), the five-piece have built a growing reputation across Kent and London for energetic live performances. Their sound blends classic rock with a modern alternative edge. In 2025, they released their debut single ‘Lust To Love’ and competed in the national final of Greene King Untapped. In 2026, they sold out their headline show at Camden Assembly and headlined the O2 Academy Islington. They continue to release new music and expand their live presence across the UK.
