The Empire Police are a four-piece indie rock/pop band from Preston, combining rock, jazz and alternative influences to create a unique sound, popular with fans of The Cribs, Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes.

Since their first gig in February of 2016, The Empire Police have supported the likes of Cabbage and Inheaven. Their hometown crowds are known to be raucous and rowdy, and the band have been branching out of Preston shows across Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.

The Empire Police have been championed by Tom Robinson of BBC 6 Music as “completely extraordinary”, and in his words – “the boldness and exuberance in their playing bodes well for the future”
