South London Duo ‘The Escape’ are exactly what they say on the tin – bringing you into their world and taking you out of yours. Defying the boundaries of stereotypical genres, the two best mates have been making music together for over a decade – weaving poetic lyricism into a fusion of cherry-picked sounds as diverse as Jazz, Hip Hop, RnB and Rock. Boasting huge jazzy synths, heavy hip hop beats, and choppy hypnotic vocals – you can often find them in their living room studio, cooking up modern day anthems, spilling their own truths and that of the voices hushed in today’s world.
