The Last Of us began in april 2013 and have been gigging since July 2013. Their music is a mix of heavy riffs with a melodic twist and is often compared to the feel of the rock/metal acts of the 70s and 80s. After begining to hit the gig circuit they quickly gained a large following around the midlands and  were soon headlining London venues such as The 02 Academy, The Amersham Arms, The good Ship, SCALA, the Camden Barfly and many others and have supported the likes of the Vaccines and Alt J and have a management deal with London based label "The Animal Farm Records"

They have been featured in various articles, blogs and magazines including an upcoming review in Terroizor and their single "The Rhythm Of My drUM" recently came second in Best Of British Unsigned's track of the year award

They also did their first UK tour with dutch prog metalists "Synergy Protocol" in April 2015
