London based 5-piece Psychedelic Pop band exploded onto the scene in 2017 with their debut single ‘Endless Memory’ released on Nice Swan records, which was added to the Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ and ‘Viral 50’ charts. Following this up with tracks such as ‘The Needle’ and ‘Crystaleyed’, the latter of which was featured on Channel 4’s Made in Chelsea.

The Lightning Year have found a name for themselves as an infectiously entertaining live act, and have enjoyed a successful year of performances, most notably supporting New Orlean’s based band Mutemath on the European leg of their “Play Dead” tour. Other accolades include appearances at major festivals such as Festival Number 6, The Great Escape and Secret Garden Party (plus many more), as well as sold out headline performances at London’s Waiting Room and The Social to name but a few. After the success of their first year, there has naturally been a lot of buzz for what The Lightning Year will produce in 2018, and we can assure you that it’s going to be electrifying!
