The McGonigles are a DSouth London Indie/ Blues/ Rock band who carve out their own style and sound while giving a nod to their heroes that have come before. Currently playing all over London- they are inspired by The Beatles,Motown, Hendrix, Oasis and The White Stripes. The McGonigles are high energy, high paced but with beautiful, catchy melodies that you will go home singing along to.
They are raw, gritty but also tender int their sound. Fronted by the contrasting twins Marie and David McGonigle (Think Karen Carpenter meets Liam Gallagher) they have a swagger and confidence to their music that not many bands can hold true to.
