South London based The New Immigrants are composed of BAFTA-nominated writer Justin Sbresni, Ian Olney (Sultans of Ping), Jim McAllister (Shane McGowan and The Popes), Manc guitar maestro Chris Merry, Transylvanian esztám drummer Janos Muranyi and the Top Brass horn section. They combine garage, folk, pop, rock and indie to produce exciting and beautiful harmony-rich guitar-laden music with soaring horns that has been thrilling audiences at their live gigs all over the capital at venues such as The Underbelly, The Spice of Life, The Islington, The New Cross Inn, 93 Feet East, The Hope and Anchor and The Water Rats. Their first album “Taking Back Control” dropped on all platforms in 2022.
