The Onironauts are oniric astronauts. It is an italo-russian-french London-based quartet formed in April 2010 by Filippo Dall'Asta, Dimitri Stocchi and Evgeny Sukhotin. The band met while studying at Tech Music Schools in London and plays an instrumental mixture of funk, jazz, drum'n'bass and alternative rock with a progressive touch, using spaceship-pedalboards and crazy sounds! After recording their first EP "Colours vol.1", the french multi instrumentalist Nano SIgo joined the band to add saxophone melodies, synthetizer lines and some crazy scat singing, making the overall sound something you've never heard before!

 

The band recorded its second EP "Funky Heavy Dance" in June 2012 and got to play at the International finals of the Surface Festival 2012 at the Indigo2 in London, where they qualified 4th out of 20000 bands. The Onironauts' live performances aim to offer a new experience and give something special to the audience.
