The Oscar Nominated are a four piece guitar band from Hertfordshire/Essex who create hook laden, vibrant, indie rock.

The band features Dave Carver (guitar) and George Kaye (vocals), Kevin Starr (drums) & Ian Starling (bass).

They have released four singles-‘Things Are Easier When I’m Not Thinking’, ‘Bring The House Down’, ‘Swim In Different Circles’ and ‘Sometimes It’s Hard To Be Happy’..

In September 2025 they released their debut album’Only Us’
