An alternative rock band from South-West London. Formed in May 2013, The Path Ahead have just released their debut EP "Illustrations Of The Mind" on iTunes, Spotify, and various other platforms, and subsequently have been described by The Sunday Times as "already making a name for themselves in the capital".
The past year has seen  memorable moments in abundance, including shows at venues such as the Borderline and O2 Academy Islington. Next year promises to have a lot in store for the young four-piece, with writing under way for several planned single releases and load of extra good stuff on the side.
The band comprises of four members from different musical backgrounds, the sound combining soft-rock Smiths-esque vocals with folk guitar/piano, an overdriven lead guitar, melodic bass lines, and a dirty-fusion influenced percussive drive. The result is a sound which spans a multitude of genres, with material ranging from stripped down ballads to full-on blast-it-out rock anthems which are guaranteed to get the heels stamping and heads bashing. Expect an energetic performance.
