A British indie rock band, formed in London by Lee Squires (lead vocals/guitar), Jason McCombe (vocals/lead guitar) and Ben Aldis (bass guitar). The band recruited Dean Barker (drums) in 2013 and named themselves "The Pierrots". The band is centred on the songwriting partnership of Squires and McCombe. The band use a garage in Hornchurch as their regular rehearsal space, which they've named "The Crystal Dawes". The Pierrots have an upbeat post-punk/garage rock sound, combining distorted power chords and catchy rifts, with punchy basslines, sharp beats and heavy snares. Their songs are generally about modern relationships, sung in a distinctive, natural style.
