The Publics are a 5 piece indie rock band who formed in September 2018. With members from various backgrounds, the group aims to reach a diverse audience with their rock and roll style that focuses on catchy riffs and powerful choruses. Despite only releasing their debut single, ‘Was That Kiss Meant For Me?’ on the 13 January 2019 the band are beginning to gain a very supportive following. Songwriter/Guitarist, Elliot Stephenson takes inspiration from Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Sherlocks and the Arctic Monkeys and varies his writing from songs aimed to please the crowd and songs that hold true meaning to him. Frontman, Tomas Kelly delivers a captivating show with his outstanding energy and high levels of emotion he puts into every song, amplifying the bands performance. The Publics have huge plans for the future and are aiming to take 2019 by storm.
