Hailing from a small town in the Republic of Moldova, the lack of any activities led Dan Timofei (Lead Vocal/Lead Guitar) and Victor Ceban (Drums) to attend the only music school in their town. Playing together, after 4 years they met Ion Tiuticov (Rhythm Guitar) who also attended the music school. After graduating, they met their bass player Cristian Budac and formed The Wax Road on the 1st of December 2013.
In the spring of 2014, at the “Day Drum Ungheni” festival, they met Iaroslav Cojocaru – one of the festival organizers – that eventually became the band’s manager. This way they formed a powerful team.
“A young but powerful band with an enviable workforce, The Wax Road fell like a storm on the music industry with many new ideas, a tidy fundraising campaign and a series of tricks that allow them to be close to their fans both on stage and beyond.”
