Tom Peacock

About

“Nobody gets lost tonight
Tom Peacock picked up his first guitar at 16, learning from friends and family from early beginnings in Cardiff. He worked his way through the open mic and gig scene in Derby, and now frequents renowned venues in London.

Tom’s music is a gentle mix of acoustic folk/pop based around his influences, ranging from Mumford and Sons, Damien Rice, George Ezra and Jeff Buckley, to Florence and the Machine, Cattle and Cane, Dashboard Confessional and The National.

His main influences have always come from those around him, and the musicians that he has met through the years. To improve his own sound he has taken elements of a lot of unsigned artists, as well as the mainstream!

Having played Y-Not festival, in the same fields as Noel Gallagher, Feeder, Ocean Colour Scene, Newton Faulkner, The Editors, Eliza and The Bear, Deap Valley and Catfish and the Bottlemen, Tom is looking to spread his wings to many other festivals in the coming year, and advertise his forthcoming album – ‘Imagine Waking Up Tomorrow and All Music Has Disappeared’

He’s recently been in the studio with The Animal Farm, in south London, recording 6 new purely acoustic tunes with a view to releasing a string of singles once the album is complete. He’s currently finishing writing the remaining songs and aiming to have them wrapped up by the end of 2018.

As well as applying to festivals throughout the UK, Tom is looking for radio play, support slots in prestigious venues with up and coming acoustic/folk artists, and a host of other local London gigs to build up his ever increasing fan base.
