In 2012, Totie wrote the soundtrack for a Short Film, ‘Holding On’, which was selected for the American Online Film Awards, Hollywood Shorts to name but a few, but also including the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Totie promoted her soundtrack ‘Holding On’ whilst performing at Ma Nolans Irish Bar, Cannes. Totie has written a further 2 short film soundtracks, of which the film ‘Cover Me’ has since been selected for ‘Best Soundtrack’ at the Golden Egg Film Festival in LA 2014.

Whilst writing for film and her own music, Totie decided to enter the music competition OpenMicUK, where she sailed her way through to the Grand Final of OpenMicUK 2013 in Birmingham where she won the coveted Future Music Showcase Prize.

Following her success in 2013, Totie was invited to perform at the Henley Festival 2014, alongside the likes of The Jacksons, Rebecca Ferguson, Joss Stone and more. Since performing at the legendary The Bedford in Balham, Totie has been invited to perform at both The Lucky Pig and The Workshop in London and also various venues closer to home.

Totie will be recording her EP in early 2015.
