Four-piece London-based alt-rock outfit Minimum Wage offer a fresh take on the eclectic rock scene of the 2000s. Whilst the influence of bands like the Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, blink-182 and countless others is firmly stamped on their music, they are also influenced by jazz, funk, pop and metal. The result of this quirky musical melting pot is a unique brand of rock with boundless energy, anthemic choruses and sensitive melodic grooves, all while remaining ferociously catchy.
With their debut album, Modern Misery, set for release in Summer 2024, Minimum Wage are not to be slept on. They are making a lot of noise in the London music scene and it is becoming hard not to take notice.
