Reformed in mid-2015 with a fresh line up and an arsenal of new songs, After Francis made their live debut at Isle of Wight Festival 2016. Rowland’s infectious vocal and melodies are reminiscent of early Oasis, and the sound of the band has been described as The Black Keys vs The Strokes.

The band is based in London and influences also include Royal Blood, BRMC, The Vaccines, Mystery Jets, The Jam and Bloc Party.

After Francis were previously known as The Lightwings, who were described as ‘something of favourites here at BBC Introducing’ by Gary Crowley of BBC London and Amazing Radio.
