Alex PW

Alex PW is a London-based singer song-writer from Birmingham. He got the music bug when destiny dropped a lonely left-handed guitar into a charity shop. Alex PW caught it and gave it a good home. His distinctive flavour of acoustic folk-pop spans classic songwriting like Dylan, Cohen and Martyn and to the best of modern RnB such as Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, creating a sound described as ‘restlessly exciting and dynamic’.
Right now he is playing his songs to audiences across London and Brighton night after night, building up a rabid fanbase ahead of September studio recordings for a full album set to be released by the end of the year.
Alex PW has played in venues such as the Bedford, Ronnie Scott’s and Proud Camden in London, as well as touring Thailand and Taiwan, playing to adoring crowds who came to see him night after night. He plans to keep touring and building up his fanbase to spread his philosophy of ‘we can get to heaven if we realise we can’ and 'fighting for life every day' from his songs ‘We Can’ and 'The Hint of a Spark'. Too many people live their lives in cages. He wants you to fly free of those cages.
2017 and 2018 look set to be thrilling years for this exciting, dynamic performer who’s coming to a gig new you soon.
