Andalucia

About

Four young musicians from South East London join to form Andalucia. Their influences range from Britpop bands such as Suede Pulp, and Blur, to American rock groups of the 21st century such as the Velvet Underground and Pixies. Other contemporary artists who have inspired the group are Mac Demarco, Mild High Club and King Krule.

Having released a four track EP in the spring of 2018 the band have moved on sonically but have yet to solidify it with recordings. However they hope to do so soon.

They have played at a number of large South East establishments including the New Cross Inn and Up the Creek.

Fronted by guitarist and singer Harvey Morgan, the Andalucia sound revolves around strong lead guitar riffs and heavy bass lines. The rhythm section of Dylan Ashton on bass, Walter Lockwood on rhythm guitar and George Duggan on drums keeps it exceptionally tight on stage, their frequent jamming early in the bands development really showing.
