Anteloper was realised when drummer-turned-singer Stuart Grey found himself in need of a bed and guitarist Ped Teale offered him his spare.

Late night song writing ensued, joined by fellow house dweller Shantha Roberts on organ & synth, Charlie "Long" Higgs (of Jessica's Brother) on bass and Jonny Helm (also of Jessica's Brother and The Wave Pictures) on drums.

Anteloper make smart indie with sensitive synths and obstinate keys; percussive guitar patterns, dexterous bass, nimble drums, unpredictable vocals.

Sometimes in line, sometimes out of its natural rhythm; the resulting sounds are ominous, soaring, witty and haunting.
