Baby powder is a London based band formed in 2017 with members coming from the active London funk/soul/hip hop/neo soul/ jazz scene. The band takes inspiration from world sounds and melts them into a soulful groovy funky mix. Now out with their first two singles on all digital platform, Baby Powder is about to release a full EP mixing live -one take- recorded sessions and more electronic based tracks. The various countries of origins of the band members bring a fresh and original vibe to the overall songwriting mix. We are starting to have gigs around UK and we proudly managed to conduct a monthly radio show from RADIO 199 ( https://www.mixcloud.com/199Radio/010518-baby-powder-debut/ ) where we host multiple guests for impromptu acoustic sessions and also enjoying a diverse playlist.
