Bandini

About

Bandini is an Italian singer/songwriter based in London. Having been brought up on Blues and Jazz through his father, and then schooled in storytelling and song-writing through his uncle, Bandini’s musical foundations were set. Bandini started his career in London playing live on the streets. He then made a name for himself on the London open mic circuit with his special blend of acoustic blues. Now a year later he has his own touring quartet who he performs with: Henry Paris (Piano) Luigi Rignanese (Bass), Richard Castle (Sax) Jacob Powell (Drum). Bandini has now recorded his debut EP ‘Small Room’ which imaginatively combines his experiences of life as a musical migrant in the burgeoning London music scene, with an audible influence from his favourite contemporaries – Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Screemin Jay Howkins, Nick Cave, Nina Simone.‘Small Room’ by Bandini will be released on the 17th of March. Recorded with: Henry Paris at the Piano, Jacob Powell at the Drums, Luigi Rignanese at the Bass, Richard Castle at the Saxophone, Sandra Sorio at the Choir.
