Having spent much of my childhood singing in choirs, I decided to take up modern music as a hobby in school. What started off as just me battling with my guitar quickly developed into a band called 'Lamplighters'. We wrote a few songs, played a few gigs, had fun and learnt a lot! However when the time came to part ways in July last year, I decided that I wanted to continue music and perhaps, if I had the talent for it, consider music as a career. So I soon started writing again with my main influences seeming to be bands such as Keane, Coldplay and The Corrs. After several months of hitting and missing I stumbled across the melody for my song 'Phantoms Call' on the piano. This caught the attention of a very capable producer from the US called John Fishman who took an interest in the song and produced it to incredibly high standard (link to the song below). 'Phantoms Call' was received so positively that I was motivated to keep writing and finally look for some gigs. So with that, here I am!
