Hello person.

We’re Darcie – Zigi and Tom. Our birthday is 15th October. We make tunes, in our rooms.

We really like Rex Orange County (call us), SZA and Zack Villere.

We have a really cool friend Monsieur Mingle who does really cool drawings for us. It’s really cool.

We try to play our songs, just the two of us, using too many USB cables, and sometimes we royally f*ck it up, but other times it goes okay, so come see us.

Darcie is the duo project of multi-instrumentalist Tom Donaldson and singer-songwriter Zigi, making dreamy lo-fi soul pop in Manchester.

Musically drawing on the DIY feel of artists such as Steve Lacy and Rex Orange County, alongside the soulful influences of Jorja Smith and Tom Misch, Darcie have a distinctive sound which is complimented by Monsieur Mingle’s unique illustrations.

Live, the duo perform without a band, experimenting with technology whilst incorporating traditional instruments. Zigi and Tom have performed at multiple venues in and around Manchester and have self-released four singles, a remix EP and a music video.
