It was hard to pinpoint who this group of gents from Portsmouth England sounded like because they sounded to me like a bit of everything. Drainz dish out catchy melodies and lyrics with drum beats that made me want to do the pogo dance from any number of new wave moves from my youth. I think Drainz has a sound that is worthy of the big time”

Hey everyone we’re Drainz. We are based in Portsmouth, our music style is indie/psychedelic as well as beautiful weird noises. Its hard to pinpoint exactly what our influences are for Drainz. We all come from different styles of musical playing making our tastes in music very different our favourite bands range from Radiohead to The Replacements which has a great impact on the music we create with everyone bringing their own unique skills to all our songs. We have been together for over 2 years and have already built up a good reputation around the south coast playing successful shows in Brighton London and Portsmouth as well as supporting Johnny Foreigner at the Joiners in Southampton. We have also recently released our debut EP Drainz which was recorded by the brillant Brad Dorey. We are also planning to hit the studio again soon to get some more tunes down either for another EP or our debut album which we can’t wait to get started on.
