Elle Beale

About

Elle Beale is a 19 year old singer/ songwriter from The South/East of England.
Elle took an interest in music from a young age, taking up classical guitar at the age of six. She went on to study music, music theory and music technology at school, at college and in her spare time. It wasn’t long before she began writing and producing her own original music.
In early 2018, her first single ‘Lost’ was released. A synth pop tune touching on her love for the present moment and feelings of apprehension towards the future. Through 2018, while finishing her high schooling, Elle developed her own musical style and honed in on her production and compositional skills to create her first album ‘Paint Me A Picture’, released in December 2018.
The ten track album weaves the story of social anxiety, the loneliness of youth, family interaction, tween angst and most importantly hopes and dreams for the future. The album title describes Elle’s approach to songwriting; she always intends to paint a picture for the listener.
The songs take inspiration from a number of genres, styles and artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Paramore, The 1975 and Kate Bush to create an original folk/pop sound.
The release of this album and the completion of her time at school pushed Elle to begin gigging, supporting upcoming artists such as Mosa Wild and Pink Shirts For Pale People. Her album quickly received attention from the BBC with a slot on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire as the ‘Getting To Know You’ guest.
