Gazel’s music is a mystic blend of electronic pop with ancient and philosophical influences, a unique sound that gained nominations in the 15th Independent Music Awards with her debut EP, ‘Bone Key’ (Best Pop EP, Best Electronic Song).

Gazel studied at the Royal Academy of Music before releasing her first EP as an independent singer-songwriter in 2016. Since 2017, Gazel has enjoyed sold-out headline shows at The Lexington, Borderline, The Waiting Room, and Birthdays, as well as playing support shows at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the Hammersmith Apollo.

Gazel is currently completing her debut album, ‘Gazel’s Book of Souls’, a musical journey through the collective unconscious. The team includes Haydn Bendall (Kate Bush, Massive Attack) and Shuta Shinoda (Ghostpoet, Hot Chip), plus a series of supporting artwork by close collaborator Acid Lake.
