Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly

Get. Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is the brainchild of Sam Duckworth; a buoyant and ever-changing outfit which can vary from a from a solo acoustic set to a 14 piece jazz band, depending on the show. His most recent lineup for his Independent Venue Week Tour featured a horn section lead by Henry Lawry (Dele Sosimi afrobeat orchestra) as well as the rhythm section from Pocket Dragon.  Sam’s career boasts of four top 40 singles, two top 40 albums and a continuing line of awards. He has also collaborated with a diverse range of artists from Seb Rochford, Nitin Sawhney, Shy FX, Kate Nash, Baba Maal to Jehst.

Sam has performed at an impressively diverse mix of shows over his career, which is further testimony to his ability to adapt as a musician and to appeal to a number of audiences. Having played on (quite literally) every single Glastonbury stage (all the way up to the Pyramid Stage), every single stage at Reading & Leeds, and every major UK festival you can think of, Sam is also proud to have been part of Felabration both in the UK and Lagos.
