Giack Bazz

About

Federico Giacobazzi writes his first song in 2008. Proceeds to carry his guitar everywhere. He twists and collapses his family name into something that sounds more catchy and easy to pronounce by english speakers. “Giack Bazz” sounds good. He shoots Polaroid pictures because life is too fast for developing film and too beautiful for a digital camera.
In late 2015 his bandmates encourage him to release an album. He successfully publishes his first solo album thanks to a crowdfunding. He releases “Childhood Dream”, later brought on stage as a rock opera.

He records his second album and plays every instrument in the studio. He follows the concept of how fame is just a social status and nothing more. He assembles each vinyl copy by hand. “Giack Bazz is not Famous” receives good reviews and he decides to go abroad. He moves to London, where he releases “Haikufy”: 30 tracks, 30-odd seconds long, with haiku poems for lyrics; written, recorded, mixed and released in 30 days. In a week he gets over 7.000 song streams. Decade gives the album 8/10. Apparently he is getting big in Japan. He is currently producing his fourth album.
