Darkly melodic and possessed by an intense, driving urgency, grasshopper’s unique take on pounding post-punk and ethereal goth-wave-bollox has seen them become a musical force to be reckoned with.

Since their inception in 2012, grasshopper have supported acts like The Charlatans, Grant Hart, Brix & The Extricated, Julie’s Haircut, and The Go! Team, as well as performing at several UK festivals (including Festival No. 6 and Kendal Calling) as guests of Tim Burgess. Having just released their well-received ‘Stricken’ EP, the band are preparing to release their debut album, recorded and produced by David M Allen (The Cure, The Human League).
