IDEH

About

IDEH – pronounced “holiday” without the “hol” – is a blue-haired contemporary R&B artist/producer based in Wickford, Essex. Born and raised in East London, she often sang the lead in a gospel choir at her local church throughout her teenage years, then gained an audio-engineering degree. She released her first song ‘The One’ via Soundcloud in 2014, and is keen to collaborate with true creatives worldwide.

IDEH’s music is a tangible reflection of her as a person; enigmatic, free-spirited and sensual. Frank Ocean enthusiasts would most likely gravitate to her nostalgic yet innovative approach.

Hear for yourself (over 220K plays) her cover of 90s classic “Got Til’ it’s Gone” by Janet Jackson:

IDEH’s self-proclaimed ‘Top 5 Vocal Influences’ are; Brandy, Kate Bush, Anita Baker, Imogen Heap and Sade (in that order).
