INDEA is a four piece band from North London with a unique indie rock sound, strongly influenced by the band member’s multicultural backgrounds. Composed of native-born Londoners, a Swedish drummer and a Venezuelan bassist, their music can be described as Bloc Party, The Clash, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and James Brown in the same room.

It all started in 2013 when guitarist Mike Brewin put out an ad for a singer—singer Kelvin Anipa answered. Swedish drummer Philip Schnell joined the band soon after, with Venezuelan bassist Jesus Torres joining in 2015. Now an up-and-coming four-piece on the local circuit, INDEA has since played venues all over London (Scala, Cargo, 93 Feet East, Proud Camden, Camden Assembly, etc.) and the UK (Guilford, Liverpool, Brighton, Manchester).
