Winner of Open Mic UK 2017, James Neilson (Lead singer,main guitarist), Jack Higgins (Bass Guitarist) bring you a blend of relaxed funky sounds with punchy indie rock vibes. Meeting together on holiday around 11 years ago, they have only started creating music together under ‘James Neilson’ for 5 months but have quickly found a style which is both unique and bouncy. Now playing in a four piece band setup, their setlists are bigger and better than before. Gaining inspiration from mutual favourite bands and artists such as Sticky Fingers and Tom Grennan, they have combined these interests into the style they produce today.
