About

Jon Norris is a Franco-British singer-songwriter from Leicester, UK.

It was in this small city where many nationalities rub shoulders, that Jon, born to an English father and a French mother, began writing his first lyrics and composing his first tunes.
Having been immersed in such a cosmopolitan environment helped to influence his music, with its many different sounds ranging from heavy, sub-bass urban rhythms to energy driven pop.
His influences include Post Malone, Charlie Puth, G-Eazy and Maroon 5.

Jon graduated from "Live Performance and Sound Technology" at the Paul McCartney music school in Liverpool (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts).
In 2012, he moved to Paris, performing in venues such as the Elysée Montmartre, Le Trianon, Le Divan du Monde, Le Café de la Danse, The Trabendo…

Having built an extensive network nationally and internationally, Jon has collaborated with several producers and has written many songs played on France’s biggest radios (Virgin Radio, Fun Radio, France Bleu).

In 2016 Jon met the young Trap/Hip-Hop producer Heizenberg (Gucci Mane, Young Thug) and released the EP “The HeiZenberg Effect” in 2017.

In 2018 Jon signed to the management company « Nextplay Music Group" (Warner Chappell) and started work on the follow-up EP with Heizenberg.

« StreetRock Sessions 1» is officially released on the 15th of March.

The EP is quickly included in several Spotify playlists (French Top Records, UrbanZone, What The France) and in 2 months generates over 80 000 streams.

The 2nd single/video « MUSTANG » is released in JUNE 2019 and is quickly played on many US and French radios, including France Bleu, one of France’s biggest radios, in which Jon is selected in the « Top Talents of the Year" list.

Following the success of « SR1 » Jon collaborates with the LA singer Kirsten Collins and on September 20th they release their joint single « You Got Me" which already has over 140 000 Spotify streams.
Jon is currently working with Californian multi-platinum producer Warren Kurtiss (Snoop, French Montana) on his follow-up single.
