King Kuda

About

Brought together by chance from all reaches of the country, the 4-peice King Kuda found eachother when they moved in together at university. The boys clicked immediately, linked by an inate love of all things music and a drive to succeed. As their growing companionship blossomed, it wasn't long until drummer Charlie Vasiliou said "Lads, why haven't we started a band yet?" And King Kuda was born. They quickly set about putting pen to paper, and through countless hours of meticulous craftwork, created a fresh sound, brimming with style and character. Picks to strings and sticks to skins, soon discovering that frontman Ollie Gocher's light lyrical style, guitarist Chris Burrell's passionate riffing, bassist Perry Anderson's soulful grooves and Charlie Vasiliou's consistently powerful rhythms were a winning combination. However, it wasn't until they ventured out to Foxden Studios that they realised what sound they had stumbled upon. Under the watchful eye of producer George Moran (Miles Kane, Wulfman Fury) they set about bringing to life the music they had worked so hard to create.

Effortlessly blending smooth vocal melodies and creamy riffs with irresistible beats and bass lines, King Kuda have mastered their groove based indie dream-pop sound, ushering it into exciting, unexplored territories. With their latest single “Wildflower” taking over summer playlists around the world, King Kuda are making a name for themselves as ones to watch, and show no sign of slowing down.
