Taylor Swifts “1989” album meets Paramore with “An exciting new pop artist to look out for…” Meg Lawrenson creates bold music, with uplifting vocals, catchy melodies with a powerful band behind her. She released her title track “vodka” which has been described by W21 music as a “really enjoyable single”. Released after was her EP “V O D K A” which led her to be sign a record deal with BFS Records. They are now recording together on a brand new EP, “Swallow”, which is due to be released in Spring 2019.
As well as recording 2 EPs, Meg has had the opportunity to support some great artists such as BEMY, Sabrina Gunston and Ary. She performed on radio shows such as the Dominic King Show on BBC Radio Kent and had the opportunity to travel to Sweden to play her music there. Meg kicked off the start of 2019 with her first headline show in London at the Slaughtered Lamb and will continue to play gigs all throughout 2019, including Soma Fest 2019 and Beacon Festival.
