Mikyla Cara is UK based singer/songwriter who earlier this year released her Debut EP ‘Grown’, which you can find on itunes/amazon and all other online stores. Before the EP she released three singles ‘Over you’, ‘Radar’ and ‘Grown’ as music videos which can be found on youtube. In January 2017 Mikyla had her SOLD OUT debut show where she performed all the songs from the EP alongside a couple of special guests. 

Mikyla spent most of 2016 writing and recording her EP as well as performing in various venues such as ‘The Essex Live Lounge’, ‘Troy Bar’ and a variety of other open mic nights. From these performances she gained further exposure as an artist and also drew inspiration from the experience. 

The ‘Grown’ EP expresses a range of emotions which tells a story beginning with joy, loss, and despair then ending with empowerment and hope. The EP takes you on an emotional journey from the lyrics to the powerful vocal, ultimately ‘Grown’ offers something that many people can relate to.

Mikyla Cara released her fourth single ‘Reptile’ July 19th 2017. Additionally the music video to the single was released July 28th 2017 on the Official Mikyla Cara YouTube channel! Reptile delivers a metaphoric message…….After a person has healed from heart break the scars may still remain, leaving them guarded, emotionally disconnected and cold ‘like a reptile’. The song lends to the soul/pop genre with a bluesy edge! Reptile can be found on all major online stores such as ITunes, Amazon and Spotify.
