Nikita KC is a London born singer-songwriter and artist primarily writing and recording soul, r'n'b and pop music. With a warm, mellifluous tone and soulful sound, Nikita's inviting vocal has a rich blend of range and power coupled with depth and diversity. Having two singer-songwriters as parents, Nikita grew up constantly around music with both parents having their own bands. Having attended performing arts school two days a week from age six, Nikita sang and performed in shows throughout her childhood. During a music class, aged ten Nikita co-wrote her first song with best friend at the time, uncovering a knack for spontaneous melodies and lyrics. Nikita KC continued to hone in on her passion for writing songs in her early teen years whilst listening heavily to the pop and r’n’b of that time. The artist’s she had on repeat include Jojo, Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Neyo, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys. She also found herself drawn to country artist & singer-songwriter Shania Twain as well as Celine Dion and later acknowledged other influences coming through from her mother’s collection which include Fleetwood, Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow. Nikita released her first single Enthusiastic in 2017 (available to listen on digital platforms) and released her latest single It’s Not Good Enough on September 13th of this year.
